THE IMPORTANCE OF A MENTOR IN A LEADER'S LIFE
Mentoring is nothing new. From the beginning of time, God instituted the critical, needful role of a mentor in individuals’ lives. Since then, mentoring is becoming an increasingly trendy, sometimes careless activity engaged in daily to the critical point where much damage, wrong teaching, manipulation, abuse has and is continually being spread. This workshop is constructed to do 2 things; 1) - to expose and eradicate the deceptive advancement of such a trend; and 2) – to reveal God’s unchanging principles regarding true mentoring and the purpose for which He allows it in one’s life.
Facilitator: Apostle (Dr.) Dianne Gardiner
WARNING!!! Becoming a LEADER before my season (The Dangers of Premature Manifestation)
It has oft been said, and is a much proven biblical truth – “those who embrace a premature shoot into leadership hardly ever arrive at maturity.” Why? One of the consequences of being in a leadership position is being put under intense public scrutiny, being held to ‘perceived’ high standards, and enhancing a reputation that is constantly under threat; so if one does not have godly character, is not mature, integral, disciplined, orderly, knowledgeable, positioned by God, the pain, pressure and people will destroy you. Therefore, this workshop is designed to enable all participants to understand and learn the perils of running ahead of Gods timing.
Facilitator: Minister Morais Cassell

Leaders Identifying and Motivating Leaders among You.
True leadership inspires! It can birth a leader out of a follower. But how does one indentify a potential leader? After all – potential is power in possibility but not actuality. So are there ‘traits’ to look for? Or are there certain gifting and talents tone must have in order to cultivate so they can qualify for leadership? What dimension of vision does it take to see the ‘diamond’ in the rough? This workshop is designed to equip present leaders with the tools to distinguish and motivate future leaders.
Facilitator: Bishop Leroy Greenway
12:45 – 2:00pm – Drill Session II
What are the principles of true leadership?
True leadership can change the mindset and mentality of the follower. When true visionary Leadership is present, the leader can draw hope out of despair; action out of hesitation; growth out of stagnancy; courage out of cowardice; strength out of weakness and optimism out of cynicism. Leadership is a powerful force because it’s very essence and fundamental principle is to create leaders out of followers. This is the workshop where such governing principles, purpose and process are revealed, understood and imparted. ALL THOSE IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND! Warning – this session is not for the faint or fickle at heart!
Facilitator: Apostle (Dr.) Dianne Gardiner
How to Lead Difficult People
Someone once said, “90% of the art of living consists in getting along with people you cannot understand!” People are wonderfully complex, vastly different beings created by God! However, in the midst of such beautiful diversity, there are those who are difficult to understand and lead, and if you are a leader, the differences are amplified, because you have to not only get along but also LOVE and influence the other person. This workshop is designed to teach you how to handle challenging personalities and fractious attitudes that are different from your own.
Facilitator: Pastor Roger Ball
How to Recover from Major Leadership Mistakes and Disasters
HELP!– We’re inundated with Leadership catastrophes!!! - It’s a 9/11 situation!!!! How does a leader deal with condemnation after making a major mistake? Irreconcilable mistakes which affect and traumatize people’s lives? Should the leader take a Leave of Absence to Recover from failure or hurt in ministry? Does a leader HAVE to fail during the course of their time? Does making a major mistake mean I need to leave my position and church? Who is responsible for nurturing, correcting, teaching and building up a leader who genuinely knows they have made a mistake and desires help to change the situation? HOW DOES ONE RECOVER??? A wise man will hear and will increase in learning. See you in class! These questions will be answered!

LEADERSHIP? :-/ - IT’S JUST NOT FOR ME!!! (Teens Only)
Leadership?? I’ve seen enough to know that this is not the road I want to go. I’m not serious enough about my salvation. I just want to relax, be at peace and be a disciple (a follower). Is that what you’re thinking or saying??? Well, my young friend this drill session will teach you that being an effective leader goes way beyond having a “leadership position or title”. Once we become Children of God, we inherit the right to excel in every area of our lives as long as we are living according to the word of God. Deuteronomy 28:13 states: The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Whether it’s your education, finances, family, extracurricular or church activities, God desires for you to be at the top! You will learn some of the most important characteristics an effective leader must possess. You will have the opportunity to discuss your FEAR of stepping forward into a leadership role. You will learn the importance of being obedient and imperative techniques in being a follower. Who do you follow?? Yes, we must first know how to follow in order to be effective leaders but be careful who we decide to follow because this will affect your destiny! You will examine yourself and identify your areas of strengths and how to build upon it and improving weaknesses. You will leave this workshop Educated, Empowered and Enthused for Leadership!!
